Everything to Look Forward To on Small Business Saturday

It's that time of year again. In the midst of all the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Hanukkah hubbub, small businesses like us celebrate our favorite day: Small Business Saturday!

We could go on and on about how important it is to support the independently and locally run small businesses in your community. They create stronger networks within their community, improve and cycle money in their local economy, create unique communities and diversity of products for their customers...like we said, we could go on.

A big difference with shopping at a small business versus a big name brand chain retailer is that we are truly thankful when you choose to support us.

We have so much planned for this weekend of small business appreciation by showing our appreciation to the people that keep us going: you! Here is everything you can expect this weekend for Small Business Saturday.

In-Store

Everything is 10% off

Yep! Every single item in the store is discounted. The more you spend, the more you'll save. The only items you can not use this sale on are typewriters and Michael Sull nib holders.

Goodie Bags for the First Ten People to Arrive

Early pays off on Saturday. If you're one of the first ten people to arrive at either location, you get a goodie bag of some really awesome analog goodies we've picked out just for this event.

Local Artisan Goods For Sale

The Maker's Market is back! This is our annual celebration of all the amazing artists that make our Tampa community special. We'll have a collection of locally made goods for sale, including collage artwork, doodle-style stickers, letterpressed stationery, and handmade books. These are truly one-of-a-kind goods made here in Tampa Bay that you can't find anywhere else.

Make & Takes

Let's get crafty! At our Soho location, we're making cute paper mittens and beautiful origami Christmas tree greeting cards with an all-materials-included workshop you can sign up for here
At Ybor, we're making free gift tags with typewriters, pens, and other colorful additions.

A Little Box of Calm Giveaway

We recently developed a digital detox in a box, that takes you from chaos to calm with just a few minutes of analog practices. Curious to give it a try? You can win one on Saturday with a giveaway in-store.

20% Off Calligraphy Kits and The Little Box of Calm

If you end up not winning the giveaway, worry not! We're offering 20% off our Little Box of Calm on Saturday so everyone can bring peace in their lives. We're also marking our signature Calligraphy Kit off by 20%.

Free shipping on all orders placed on Saturday, November 30th.

This is the big one. No matter what or how much you order, we're offering free shipping if the order is placed on Saturday. Typewriters are excluded from this big discount.
