Flourshing with Pointed Pen: Intermediate

Take your calligraphy practice to the next level! This intermediate level flourishing workshop will introduce you to decorative pointed pen calligraphy BEYOND your basic letterforms. Participants are expected to be familiar with the use of a pressure sensitive writing tool, such as a brush pen or dip pen.

Class will include warm up drills, an overview of some flourishing principles, and step-by-step instruction for creating beautiful flourishes, both as letter variations and as standalone illustrations.

*Please bring your favorite writing tool(s). Pencil and papers will be provided but you'll want to ink over the forms in either brush marker or dip pen.
