1963 Olivetti Lettera 32 Blue
This Italian made writing machine performs like a racing car; sleek, smooth and fast. No wonder the Lettera was a favorite of journalists and novelists. It's predecessor, the Lettera 22 is an icon of modern design and part of MOMA's permanent collection.
This is truly a writer's machine. Fast, with a solid feel, Cormac McCarthy used an Olivetti Lettera 32 to write nearly all of his fiction, screenplays, and correspondence.
This typewriter is in excellent shape and has been thoroughly, cleaned, serviced, adjusted, lubricated and fitted with a brand new black and red ribbon. It comes with its original blue racing stripe case. The zipper on the case works, but is showing its age. It also comes with the original instruction manual.
