The Art of the Thank You: Notes of Gratitude
In today’s busy digital world, saying “thanks” in an email will just get lost in an inbox. Brighten someone’s mailbox instead! Gratitude is not only good for you as a sender; it’s positive for the recipient as well. Gratitude research has shown that recipients receiving handcrafted notes scored “ecstatic” on the happiness rating, a 4 out of 5. In this class you will learn the mechanics of writing a memorable thank you, hints for addressing them, and tips for clear handwritten success. Bonus: Simply by writing thank you notes more often, you will begin to incorporate gratitude into your everyday life. Students will receive our gratitude kit: handout with examples & gratitude inspiration, your own thank you notes, a pen and postage.
